Our last day hasn't been entirely without incident, as Sebastian spiked a fever just before he went down for a nap, and still had it after his nap this afternoon. He was supposed to go spend a few hours with his nanny while we wrapped some things up, but we cancelled those plans since he felt lousy. A little Motrin and another 90 minutes resting, and he's acting like himself. Still, there is still a chance, probably a decent chance, that the fever will return and bring some friends.
Trying to stay positive! The good news is, if it's a 24 hour thing, we can skip San Fran tomorrow and fly straight to LA on Weds and still make our flight to China.
Weirdly, I've had a little nagging voice in the back of my head for a few weeks that has been saying, "what if Sebastian gets sick and can't go to China?" Stupid little voice!
Anyway, here is a photo of our bags: one large rolling duffel per adult, two carry-ons per adult, one carry-on for Sebastian. We did pretty well, for us!

Well - it's extremely impressive you packed in such a small space! Thanks for sharing your lives with us - those of us that are BTDT have all kinds of wonderful memories triggered by others adventures - and those yet to travel learn a great deal about what to expect. Prayers for only good things on your travels - fair winds and following seas.....
