False Start

Well, Sebastian's fever returned this morning at 3am, forty-five minutes before our alarm was to go off. He was tossing and turning from 11pm on, so we have had just a few hours' sleep. Again, with half a dose of Motrin, he is completely fine. We sadly felt it necessary to cancel our trip to San Francisco, and rescheduled our Southwest flights to get us directly to LA to catch our China Southern flight tomorrow night. One bright spot: neither Southwest nor our hotel charged us a dime to reschedule/cancel, and in fact, we now have a credit with Southwest, since our LA flight is direct, which our flight to San Fran was not. Unheard of! How refreshing that there is still at least one airline that isn't out to screw you at every possible opportunity.

Please send some good thoughts our way! If Sebastian still has a fever tomorrow, he won't be able to come to China, and that means neither will I.

Jen

Carol's sister Joan McGregor and husband Kevin had 2 in college and decided to adopt a child from China.

There is not a question about how much joy Anna has brought to her new family, ours, and all the McGregor/Schultz clan.

Of course we wish you a smooth trip and wonderful memories - and hope your new boy will bring as much joy.
